Job Summary: Assist with preparing metal parts and operating an automated plating system under supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Follow instructions and review job specs and drawings

Prepare metal parts before plating

Operate barrel plating and deburring equipment

Inspect finished parts and record plating quality

Keep logs and maintain cleaning solutions

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Assist with hazardous waste handling

Follow all safety procedures

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

At least 1 year of experience in a plating or manufacturing setting

Basic math skills

Physical Requirements:

Occasionally help move heavy drums (up to 400 lbs with assistance)

Lift up to 40 lbs occasionally

Work Environment:

Typical plating department setting
