Job Description

Platinum Edge Tutoring is looking for college students with an interest in serving their community through in-person tutoring in New York City schools and organizations. The perfect tutor is punctual, enjoys working with youth, and wants to impact the lives of others while earning a paycheck!

We will provide you with a class-by-class outline and a pre-built online class platform complete with auto-graded homework and tests.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone pursuing a teaching career, students in need of semester-to-semester gigs, or anyone wanting to contribute to their community.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Current undergraduate, graduate, or recently graduated

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 3.5+ GPA and/or 99th percentile scorer on SAT/ACT

LOCATION REQUIREMENT: Must have a New York or Georgia address

WHERE: Bronx organization

WHEN: Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:30 - 6:30 PM

• Class Dates: September 20th - October 27th
• October 6th, 13th, 20th, 25th, and 27th are in-person. All other dates are virtual.
• No Class on October 11th

STUDENTS: Middle school age range
