Job Description
A growing south Orange County independent Escrow office is in need of a high energy, well organized receptionist/assistant. This is a full-time position with hours from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday – Friday.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer phones and direct calls
- Greet clients/vendors and assist them with their needs
- General office duties including ordering supplies, scanning documents, making copies, handling mail, etc.
- Accurately entering data into escrow software
- Ordering HOA documents, loan documents, payoff demands, insurance policies, etc.
- Coordinating notary signings
- Preparing documents for closing
- Support escrow officers as required to achieve exceptional customer service
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent customer interaction skills
- Excellent written communication in letters, emails and texts
- Outstanding organizational skills and excellent follow through on tasks
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at once
- Detail oriented, able to work effectively in a fast paced, high pressure environment
- Outstanding computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts (fractions, percentages, ratios and prorations)
- Positive outlook, eager to learn
- Some Escrow or Real Estate experience a plus
- Current notary a plus
