REMOTE – JR. PROJECT MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role will act as a Project Manager for low complexity initiatives and will support the Program Manager in the complex initiatives as a Project Coordinator
As Jr. Project Manager:
- Daily project management throughout the project life cycle.
- Develop the project plan, dependencies and monitor the progress.
- Develop and manage a risk mitigation plan.
- Manage project budget.
- Manage and utilize the project resources.
- Manage stakeholders' communication including reporting on project performance to Program Manager / Product Owner / Delivery Lead.
- Manage project documentations.
- Ensure relevant standards, process and regulations are upheld.
As Project Coordinator:
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
- Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings.
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
- Ensuring project deadlines are met.
- Determining project changes.
- Providing administrative support as needed.
- Undertaking project tasks as required.
- Ensuring projects adhere frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years of project management related experience.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in project execution tools like - Microsoft Project Plan or Smartsheet.
- Attention to details even under pressure.
- Time management skills with the ability meet deadlines.
- Good knowledge of project management principles. Preference for PMP or FLMI Level 1 designation or enrolled in course.
- Be comfortable in an uncertain environment.
- Good team management and leadership skills.
- Preferably Life Insurance Domain experience.
