FINANCIAL REPORTING MANAGER

Full Time: This is a direct hire opening

Location: Santa Ana, CA

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Seeking to hire a Sr. Financial Analyst or Financial Reporting Manager with experience in preparing accurate and informative reports in various areas of the company's operations.
• Prepare a variety of financial reports including P/L statements for multiple branches.
• Emphasizes a collaborative work environment and hires only leaders who are prepared to work well in a team and bring prior experience in their areas.
• Work with Controller to draft monthly financial reports, including footnote support and monthly debt covenant reporting.
• Create efficient process to create monthly branch, region, divisional and channel reports.
• Special purpose reporting, such as Warehouse Bank covenant reporting, MBFRF reporting and / or other regulatory reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Experience creating summarized reporting from large pools of source data, formatting outputs into multiple reports to be used for different purposes.
• High - level of Excel expertise is required to accomplish this in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.
• Hands - on experience using excel to efficiently manipulate large pools of data, including creating topside checks and balances.
• Self - motivated to initiate change and streamline processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of colleagues.
• High computer proficiency.

PREFERRED

• Experience in Mortgage Banking industry.
• AMB Experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting reports - income statement balance sheet and cash flow.
