MARKETING COORDINATOR
Location: Corona, CA
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assist Sr Brand Manager / Director of Marketing with new product development initiatives, including identifying consumer insights, partnering with R&D, coordinating market research, developing package copy, and launching innovation.
- Work with cross functional teams on the overall collection strategy and roll-out plans - PR, Education, Social and Digital Understand Digital and Social Media platforms and work with Digital and social media to create a content calendar to keep message consistent.
- Create PowerPoints and presentations for new product launches and promotional initiatives.
- Manage lab tracker and product development timelines to ensure product launches as scheduled.
- Review trends to keep product and promotions relevant and on trend.
- Lead business analysis to measure business performance and uncovering business driving insights to make recommendations to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with Sales leadership in the development of customer facing communication and strategy.
- Help develop yearly business plans that identify key business opportunities and future growth plans.
- Actively participate in creative development (i.e. develop creative brief, provide creative feedback).
- Lead small, medium, and large-scale projects such as POP displays, artwork re-designs, and new product innovations.
- Stay connected to the Beauty industry with field visits, trade show attendance.
- Conduct market analysis, research, and portfolio development Work with educators to develop concepts for educational and editorial photo / video shoots.
- Create scripts and photoshoot lists Understand / bring key insights from current and future market trends and dynamics.
- Manage the day-to-day project timelines and logistics.
- Develop and manage marketing budget for all brands.
- Closely work with Digital to create omni channel campaigns.
- Review digital ads, print ad schedule and PR releases Manage and track Brand Marketing budget.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors' Degree in related field 3 - 6 years' experience in consumer products marketing and / or sales.
- Beauty or hair color / care experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal Communication skills; strong analytical skills and financial orientation.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills; especially the ability to lead cross functional teams to deliver project objectives.
- Prefer experience with mass and pharmacy retailers such as Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens and ULTA.
