IT MANAGER NEEDED FOR A DIRECT PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITY WITH OUR CLIENT IN SAN DIEGO, CA 92101. JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage employees within the IT department, liaise with other departments to ascertain their technological requirements, and develop and implement solutions that meet these requirements which are aligned with our client's overall business objectives.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate IT projects in line with organizational objectives.
• Oversee all IT operations including staff (onshore and offshore) and infrastructure, ensuring the maintenance of current and future technology systems and project initiatives.
• Consult senior-level stakeholders across the entire organization to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of Information Technology.
• Direct implementation and execution of new and/or upgraded information systems through well-defined and documented project plans which includes procedures, timeframes, and user accountability.
• Build and maintain relationships with external advisors and technology vendor partners.
• Prepare departmental financial budgets and annual performance reports for IT staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Project Management experience is a plus.
• Hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience with Opera and Micros POS preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with different levels within the company.
• Experience and knowledge of IT delivery and support processes and standards.
• Proven experience managing multiple, cross-functional teams or projects and influencing senior management and key stakeholders.
