Job Description

The Financial Analyst will gather, review and interpret data across the various functions within the company. The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing and modeling business processes, developing insights and communicating improvement opportunities to senior management. The Financial Analyst will also assist in the evaluation of new initiatives (programs, locations or acquisitions). The Financial Analyst will be assigned specific operational improvement projects and is expected to deliver results that will make the organization more effective.

• Proven ability to meet or exceed established goals in a competitive environment
• Proven skills in conducting analyses and interpreting related data
• Excellent problem solving, decision making, and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize a heavy workload under pressure and competing assignments
• Ability to work independently, meet critical deadlines and targets and demonstrate excellent follow up skills

CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Associate’s degree required in related technical fields (e.g., accounting, finance, business analysis/analytics, and/or marketing); Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA) a strong plus
• 3+ years of associated work experience
• Database management and maintenance skills
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products, including Microsoft Project
• Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) experience a strong plus
• CampusVue software experience a strong plus
• Detailed analytical abilities
