This is a fast-paced job and will require solid organizational skills and the ability to multitask. You will report directly to and collaborate with the firm owner. But as an experienced professional, you should also value the opportunity to work independently. Because of this, we intend to hire an ambitious and conscientious operations guru who will take the same approach to building and growing an efficient legal enterprise. You need to be comfortable doing this stuff: • Supervise team members to ensure deadlines are met and give timely feedback as needed. • Perform audits and spot-checks of all team members to ensure policies and procedures are being followed and functioning as intended • Collaborate with the firm owner to identify systems that need to be created or improved and to optimize the use of technology and other resources to ensure fast consistent growth • Track metrics (hiring, financial, marketing, sales, and case outcomes) and create reports • Oversee vendor and contractor relationships to ensure vendors and contractors are delivering the value they promised • Oversee timekeeping and billing functions • HR management and assisting owner with hiring, onboarding, and talent optimization • Ensure cases move through the workflow pipeline at the right pace and the tasks are being completed by each department on time Qualifications: • A boss at tracking KPIs and metrics and analyzing that data to drive decisions and growth • Skilled manager of team members to ensure they consistently follow policies and procedures and meet their deadlines and KPIs. • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while staying organized, accurate, and thorough • Wizard at identifying the next thing needed to maximize value you provide to the business • Adept at making decisions that support firm guidelines authoritatively and quickly. • Diligent and driven to finish projects efficiently • Superb written and verbal communication skills • Full of initiative • Top-notch problem solver • Comfortable with computers and learning new technology or software • Prefer 3+ years experience as a Director of Operations, Professional Legal Administrator, or COO for company with $10mm+ of revenue • Prefer MBA or equivalent degree Compensation: $100,000+
