And that’s a good thing because criminal defense litigation is challenging and demanding. This is a fast-paced job and will require solid organizational skills and the ability to multitask. You will report directly to the managing attorney(s) for your cases, and there will be plenty of opportunities to brainstorm, collaborate, and be mentored. You will creatively strategize plans and solutions for your cases under the direction of your managing attorney(s) to ensure each case progresses through the firm’s pipeline while maintaining top-notch quality standards. As an experienced paralegal, you should also value the opportunity to work independently. Because of this, priority will be given to paralegals who don't need much training on the litigation process or basic legal concepts. We are committed to professional development and showing appreciation to everyone who makes valuable contributions to our team. If you are hired, you will work with a team of conscientious and loyal people who work hard to do the job right the first time and take pride in the work we do. Finally, we are a firm of trial lawyers. There are always new techniques and strategies available to the ambitious, curious, and persistent legal team. Our lawyers are committed to investing time to read about and learn how to keep becoming the best trial lawyers we can be.
