    Check N’ Play – Brea Mall, CA Part-Time & Full-Time Opportunities

    About Check N’ Play

Check N’ Play is a premium family play café for young children and their caregivers. Our Play Attendants help create a safe, welcoming, clean, and engaging experience for every family.

This is not a passive supervision role. Team members stay active throughout the shift—engaging with children, assisting families, maintaining play areas, supporting activities and events, and helping the operation run smoothly.

We are especially interested in applicants who bring both energy and reliability.

Experience in caregiving, healthcare support, senior care, assisted living, memory care, direct support, childcare, education, hospitality, or other service-focused roles can translate very well to this position.

    What You’ll Do

Maintain an active, visible presence throughout the play space

Engage warmly and appropriately with young children and caregivers

Support play, crafts, sensory activities, storytime, and other programming

Use calm, positive redirection when children need assistance

Identify safety concerns and respond quickly

Continuously clean, sanitize, organize, and reset guest areas

Help families with check-in, waivers, memberships, and basic transactions

Assist with birthday parties and events, including setup and cleanup

Support front desk, retail, and café operations when needed

Follow all safety, sanitation, and operating procedures

    Who We’re Looking For

    We want people who are:

Active: You enjoy being on your feet, moving, interacting with people, and staying engaged.

Dependable: Your team can count on you to arrive on time and reliably work your scheduled shifts.

Patient: You remain calm and positive when children or families need support.

Observant: You notice safety concerns, guest needs, spills, or areas needing attention before they become problems.

Service-minded: You naturally look for ways to help others and make their experience better.

Professional: You communicate comfortably with children, parents, caregivers, and coworkers.

This can be an opportunity to use those skills in a positive, social, family-centered environment focused on play and hospitality.
