    About Check N’ Play

Check N’ Play is a fresh and thoughtfully curated concept for families with kids aged 18 months to 6 years. We're not a daycare—we're an imaginative, enriching space where children can explore independently or with their caregivers, while parents relax with great coffee, snacks, and retail options in a modern café setting.

As we grow—with multiple locations on the horizon—we’re building a founding team of energetic, warm, and creative individuals ready to make this a joyful experience for everyone who walks through the door.

    What You’ll Do

Play Attendants are cross-trained to support:

The Play Floor – Engage with children and caregivers to facilitate safe, meaningful play

Curriculum Activities – Help plan and deliver rotating weekly activities like art projects, sensory play, storytime, and music

Guest Check-In & Retail – Greet families, process check-ins, and support retail transactions

Café Operations – Prep drinks and snacks, manage registers, and maintain a clean café environment (tips available during these shifts)

Special Events – Assist with birthday parties and pop-ups, from setup through guest support and cleanup

Sales Support – Recommend memberships, classes, and parties—earn spot bonuses when you help close the deal!

    What We’re Looking For

    CPR Certification (required)

Experience working with young children in educational or play-based settings (preschool, afterschool, camps, etc.)

High energy, a strong work ethic, and comfort working in a physically active role (lots of bending, lifting, crawling, and smiling)

Friendly, guest-centered attitude and strong communication skills

Comfort working across multiple areas—play, café, retail, and events

If assigned to the Cafe, a Food Handler’s Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

    Bonus if you have:

A background in early childhood education, child development, or related fields

Experience designing curriculum or structured kids’ activities

Previous café, retail, or hospitality experience

Bilingual language skills (especially Spanish, Korean, or Mandarin)

    Why Join Check N’ Play?
