Description Summary:
The Women's Ministry Coordinator will work closely with the Pastor of Spiritual Development to oversee all aspects of ministry to men, including programming, events, groups, and studies. This position plays a key role in helping meet the spiritual, emotional, and intellectual needs of men from diverse cultural backgrounds and life stages. They will play an essential role in casting vision, maintaining direction, and overseeing the recruitment and development of a team of ministry partners to lead various aspects of the ministry, creating an atmosphere of equipping ministry partners to serve the kingdom. Along with a passion for seeing people connected and growing through discipleship relationships, strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. Because of the varied scope of work required and the many individuals this position will interact with, the ability to prioritize time and responsibilities while maintaining great attention to detail is a must. It is imperative that the Coordinator maintain a vibrant relationship with Christ and that focus on Him is central in the ministry.
Job Responsibilities:
In partnership with the Pastor of Spiritual Development, contribute to the overall vision and mission of ministry to adults at PV.
Oversee the creation and execution of an annual ministry plan for Women's Ministry, including identifying ministry values, key environments, ministry objectives, strategic initiatives, and key metrics for assessing effectiveness.
Recruit and develop a leadership team of ministry partners to facilitate ministry to women, and intentionally develop discipleship opportunities with key leaders.
Work closely with Discipleship Vision Priority Leadership Team to develop an annual ministry plan that ensures progress toward specific vision priority objectives. And play a primary role in vision casting, communicating, and encouraging Discipleship Groups as a primary next step of all Women's Ministry environments.
Provide oversight and vision for the teaching and curriculum used in Women's ministry events, groups, and environments.
Organize and calendar Women's Ministry groups and events in conjunction with the larger church calendar to limit conflicts and maximize ministry impact.
Oversee budget process for Women's Ministry, including: planning, expenditure approval, and periodic monitoring/reporting. Prepare and submit PO requests, check requests, purchase receipts, and outside purchases for ministry, as needed.
Collaborate with other PV ministries to identify areas of partnership for greater effectiveness in pursuing the overall vision of our church.
Lead in a way that all decisions and goals are what is best for the people of PV.
Always continue to seek out spiritual growth for self, finding new resources and ways to grow and learn.

Ability to analyze, develop and implement strategies which rely heavily on volunteers
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills interacting with differing people and personality types
Strong administrative skills, an avid planner and implementer, and aptitude to learn new systems and tools
Ability to be self-motivated, work independently, and manage time well
Good judgment/discernment
Ability to multi-task and function in a changing environment
Ability to equip and develop leaders to increase personal and ministry influence
A good listener, exhibiting a teachable spirit that is always looking for opportunities to grow and change as needed
Ability to work well as part of a team and chemistry that will work well with immediate supervisor and other team members
Desire to implement the vision of PV and support its leadership
Experience/Education:
High school graduate or equivalent
Minimum of 2 year experience serving in ministry, preferably in Leadership
Experience in leading groups as a vehicle for discipleship
