    Description Summary We are looking for a Technical Director who is strong in systems and team building. The Technical Director’s primary objective is to ensure that services and events are produced with increasing excellence while limiting distraction. PV Worship Arts aspires to be an art-producing ministry, and this position will play an integral role in forging new ways forward. The Technical Director will join the team during an exciting season with multiple large-scale renovations nearing completion, including a new Digico Q338 console and L-Acoustics amplification in the main worship space. Our key technologies include: Digico, Shure Wireless, KLANG in ear monitoring, Waves Soundgrid, Jands Vista Lighting systems and Ross Video systems. This position requires church membership.

    Responsibilities and Job Duties Weekend Services ● Give technical oversight to weekend services to ensure growing excellence ● Lead the production team at rehearsals and through services ● Serve as Service Director, FOH Audio Engineer, Producer or other key role each weekend

    Ministry Partner Development ● Champion a team culture that inspires spiritual growth and awareness ● Lead and develop ministry partners ● Develop team leaders who in turn can equip and develop others ● Recruit, audition and train new team members ● Schedule the production team for all service events

    Supervisory Responsibilities ● Supervise and coach the Assistant Technical Director ● Oversee and verify coverage for all events requiring AVL including staff meetings, funerals, weddings, concerts, worship nights and church-wide events

    Systems Oversight ● Prepare systems for special projects, rehearsals and services ● Maintain and refine all service-centric technical systems ● Implement and manage a system to ensure timely maintenance and replacement of all equipment and systems

    Planning Team Member ● Participate in weekly, bi-weekly and monthly planning meetings ● Be available to lead planning meetings when requested ● Attend staff meetings and gatherings

    Ministry Support ● Oversee the Technical Arts Budget ● Budget for and give oversight to key AVL systems for other ministry areas: PVKids K-2, PVKids 3-5, Youth and Classroom AVL systems ● Offer training opportunities for staff and volunteers. ● Serve as point person for system replacements and repairs ● Partner with PV staff in cross-training where applicable

    Education / Experience ● Formal audio training is desired ● At least 5 years experience as a Technical Director or Production Director in a church of over 1500 in weekly attendance ● Experience in systems integration and/or system design/engineering
