Digital Communications Coordinator
Description Summary
The Digital Communications Coordinator supports the Communications Department in executing and monitoring digital communications strategies.
*Note: This position requires PV Membership.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in proofing and writing copy for digital platforms.
Partner with staff and develop ministry partner teams as deemed necessary to accomplish communication goals.
Oversee content on demand strategy.
Create, edit, publish, and share consistent, relevant content for our online channels.
Monitor and interact on all channels and interpret social analytics.
Collaborate with ministry departments and ministry partners to manage content for podcasting channels.
Monitor public facing platforms frequently to ensure that it complies with Pleasant Valley brand guidelines.
Develop ministry partner teams as deemed necessary to accomplish communication goals.
Collaborate with ministry partners and ministry departments to maintain and schedule blog content and sermon library.
Serve as the end user advocate for experience and usability by supporting design and content maintenance.
Manage photography and videography teams.
Identify needs and facilitate coverage for social media platforms, church archive, website, and print pieces.
Nurture and retain relationships with online users through email marketing.
Champion PV’s email templates with best practices and end user in mind.
Maintain email best practices.

Education/Experience
● Degree in Communications, Media, or related field preferred
● 2-3 years of experience in related field
