Position Summary

We seek a full-time Residential Service Plumber to join our South Florida team. This position involves performing a full range of basic plumbing repairs and assisting with the installation and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing services. The successful candidate will work with our best-in-class team of service technicians, management personnel, and office staff, combining cutting-edge technology with dedication to training and quality to produce the best results.

Essential Job Functions

• Carry out regular maintenance of plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites

• Work carefully to follow all current regulations for plumbing work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspections

• Perform installation of plumbing systems at new properties

• Inspect previously installed plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites

• Perform any necessary repairs to previously installed systems

• Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair plumbing issues

• Work with various types of piping including PVC, CPVC, Copper, and Cast Iron

• Perform water heater replacements and repairs

• Address drain stoppages and diagnose slab leaks

• Replace fixtures and repair shower valves

• Contribute to plumbing remodeling projects

• Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair options and pricing

• Complete tasks in a timely manner while maintaining a clean and safe environment

• Perform other related services, which may include excavations

Required Qualifications

Education & Certification:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record

• Must be at least 21 years old (for insurance purposes)

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of plumbing experience

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Ability to maintain equipment, tools, and company vehicles

• Bilingual is a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move and/or lift at least 60 pounds with ease

• Ability to stand and/or kneel for extended periods of time

• Manual dexterity for operating tools and equipment

• Physical stamina for working in various weather conditions

Work Schedule

• Full-time position: 40+ hours per week

• Standard weekday schedule

• On-call availability required as needed

• Weekend availability may be required

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation:

• Weekly pay - $20/hr + commission

Work Environment

This position requires extensive travel throughout the Naples and South Florida service areas. Work is performed primarily at customer locations, including residential homes and light commercial facilities.
