Plumber

Location: Montgomery, AL / Tuskegee, AL

Pay Rate: $23.17/hour

We are hiring qualified Plumbers to support maintenance and repair operations across two VA medical campuses. This full-time role includes plumbing installation, repair, inspection, and troubleshooting in an active healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

· Test joints and piping for leaks.

· Install and repair valves and plumbing system components.

· Inspect and test piping after repairs, alterations, or additions.

· Check piping, fittings, and fixtures for defective parts or connections.

· Disassemble and repair damaged sections or fabricate replacements.

· Repair toilets, sinks, and related plumbing fixtures using hand and power tools common to the trade.

Qualifications:

· Minimum 3 years of documented plumbing experience required.

· Ability to work in confined spaces, noisy areas, high-heat conditions, and physically demanding environments.

· Must provide basic hand tools and comply with OSHA, respirator, and PPE requirements as applicable.

· Security screening and VA badge approval required before start.
