Summary:
The Plumber is responsible for performing all aspects of plumbing including installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of plumbing fixtures ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role requires expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and installing a wide range of plumbing fixtures and systems in commercial settings. **

_ Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform service and maintenance tasks on commercial plumbing systems, including but not limited to, pipes, drains, fixtures, and water heaters.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, identifying the root cause and implementing effective solutions promptly.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
- Install, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, urinals, faucets, and water fountains.
- Work with various materials such as copper, PVC, PEX, and cast iron to complete plumbing installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects and tasks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following proper procedures for handling hazardous materials.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Experience and Skills:
- Experience with installation and repair of water treatment equipment, piping and controls, underground storm sanitary, and water piping systems.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing various plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Familiarity with commercial building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Professional, ethical, and a team player willing to grow with the company.
- Valid license/certification preferred.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
Physical Demands:
- Work is mostly performed in an outdoor setting with some tasks in an office environment.
- Hand-eye Coordination is necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment.
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.
- Frequently required to stand and talk or hear, walk, sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawln and smell.
- Must be able to climb ladders and work heights.
- Occasionally lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
- Normally works in outside weather conditions, near moving mechanical parts, and in high, precarious places.
- Exposure to wet and humid conditions, airborne particles and confined spaces.
