Job Summary:
As a Plumbing Installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties. You will work collaboratively with our team to ensure that all installations meet industry standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water, gas, and drainage systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on plumbing systems.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Comply with local plumbing codes and safety standards during all installations and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding project status, timelines, and any potential issues.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines.
- Keep workspaces clean and organized, adhering to best practices in safety and hygiene.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred.
- Valid plumbing license or certification not required but preferred.
- Proven experience as a plumbing installer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and work in various environments.
