About the Role:

PLUMBING & HEATING CORP is looking for a skilled Plumbing Mechanic to join our growing team in New York, NY! This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your hands-on expertise to a company that values quality craftsmanship and takes pride in keeping New York's homes and businesses running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems

Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues including pipes, fixtures, and drains

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

Perform pipe fitting, soldering, and welding as needed

Inspect and test plumbing systems to ensure compliance with codes and safety standards

Collaborate with foremen and crew members on job sites to ensure timely project completion

Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness

Requirements:

Proven experience 6+ years as a Plumbing Mechanic

Valid NYS driver's license

Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations

Experience with both residential and commercial plumbing systems

Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions
