Position Overview
We are seeking an organized and communication-driven Plumbing Scheduler to support our field technicians, customers, and internal teams by managing service schedules and work orders efficiently. The ideal candidate will balance customer service excellence with operational coordination in a fast-paced service environment.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and dispatch plumbing technicians for service, maintenance, and emergency calls
Answer incoming customer calls, gather service details, and route requests appropriately while maintaining a professional and customer-focused phone presence
Confirm appointments and arrival windows with customers and technicians
Optimize technician routes and adjust schedules as needed throughout the day
Maintain accurate and up-to-date work orders in field management software
Communicate effectively with field staff, customers, property managers, and vendors
Track job statuses and follow up on incomplete or rescheduled work
Assist with after-hours or weekend coordination on an as-needed basis
Required Qualifications
Experience in scheduling, dispatching, or customer service (field service experience a plus)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organization and multitasking ability
Comfort with scheduling/dispatch software and CRM systems
Customer-focused attitude and problem-solving mindset
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in plumbing, HVAC, or other trade service scheduling
Familiarity with service management platforms such as ServiceTitan, FieldEdge, or similar
Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
