Typical Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot plumbing issues (leaks, clogs, low water pressure, etc.)

Repair or replace pipes, valves, faucets, toilets, water heaters, and other plumbing fixtures

Install new plumbing systems for renovations or new construction

Perform routine maintenance on plumbing equipment

Read and interpret blueprints, building codes, and technical diagrams

Provide customers with estimates, explanations of issues, and maintenance recommendations

Ensure all work meets safety standards and local plumbing codes
