Developer and Senior Developers
Developer is responsible for contribution to the design, development, maintenance, and ongoing maintenance of the organization’s custom software. In this capacity the Developer or Senior Developer will collaborate with resources and work independently building custom software.
NO REGULAR TRAVEL REQUIRED - DURING COVID 19 WORKING FROM HOME IS IN PLACE. AS COVID 19 RESTRICTIONS LIFT A BLENDED WORK ARRANGEMENT FROM HOME/OFFICE IS AVAILABLE.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and support the operation of the software development life cycle (SDLC) spanning research, taking into consideration requirements analysis, prototyping, design, programming, reviews, documentation, and testing
- Develop effective, high standard software and support services to support companies and project initiatives
- Complete assigned technical deliverables and test solutions
- Troubleshoot errors collaborate with developers to help resolve/research technical issues/incidents
- Be pro-active in development activities including the documentation of software development and code reviews/
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience developing web technologies, including, but not limited to: JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, AJAX, REST APIs
- 2+ years of experience developing web technologies, including, but not limited to Javascript ES6, NodeJS, Go, ExpressJS or Fastify, SASS/SCSS, VueJS, and/or Vuex
- 1 or more years of experience using cloud technologies
- Software configuration management (Gitlab, SVN etc.)
- Database experience (Postgres, MongoDB) or SQL
- Passion to learn, self-motivate, and drive execution in an entrepreneurial setting
- Resourcefulness, demonstrated problem-solving aptitude and critical thinking
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of the software development life cycle along with work estimation, planning, and tracking
- Understanding of complex concepts related to software architecture, data structures, and programming practices
- Technical troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with full stack software development in an Agile and/or DevOps environment
- Self-starter
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Experience or exposure to ITIL framework and concepts
- HAVING FUN AND BEING CREATIVE
Working with modern technologies on your own or research
Greensburg PA - Full Time
No regular travel required - During Covid 19 working from home is in place. As Covid 19 restrictions lift a blended work arrangement from home/office is available.
