Role Summary

The Outside Sales Representative will contract directly with the CEO of Pluvio to represent Pluvio and is not an employee of Pluvio. The number of hours worked per month will depend on the number of accounts interacted with in any given month, therefore the right candidate will have some level of flexibility. The number of days required may increase over time.

As the Outside Sales Representative, your focus is to provide training / sales support to existing partner accounts and prospect and bring in new accounts. You will provide extraordinary training and service to Salon Partners. As part of the Outside Sales team, you will also receive and process Salon Partner orders while fielding inquiries regarding orders and training. You will use expert knowledge of the products, hair care, training techniques, and extraordinary Salon Partner service to provide exciting training and excellent sales support to each Salon Partner.

Responsibilities:

• Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
• Prospect and contact potential customers
• Participate in all sales activities necessary to achieve the sales targets for each Fiscal Year (Fiscal Year runs 1-Oct to 30-Sep of each calendar year)
• Conduct regular business meetings with the decision-maker(s) at each Salon
• Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
• Support Salon Partners with the coordination of special events
• Record and keep a detailed recap of all correspondence with Salon Partners
• Opportunity to attend annual local Tradeshow(s) and Regional Events as a representative of Pluvio

​ Qualifications:

• Has a current Cosmetology or Aesthetician License -- preferred
• Has experience with using professional beauty products in a salon or spa setting
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle for assigned territory – required
• Sales Experience – minimum 1 year
• Training facilitation and/or presentation experience – preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills – punctuality and reliability are essential
• Computer skills (especially CRM, PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook)
