Our Facilities Engineering group is looking for an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering student with artistic abilities/talents or an eye for graphic organization and report presentation.  We require a robust electrical drawing library to manage and expand existing Facilities Systems; the SolidWorks Electrical package has been selected as the platform for our drawing templates and library.  A student comfortable with SolidWorks Standard is required, and this intern will be expected to self-teach the SolidWorks Electrical Package with guidance from engineering staff.  The intern will be trained on Human Machine Interface (HMI) software: Allen Bradley FactoryTalk and trained to create graphics screens, link to existing data servers, and program simple animation objects.

WaferTech is a semiconductor manufacturing company located in Camas, Washington.  We currently employ approximately 1000 people at our fabrication plant.  Our internship program is open to students who are currently enrolled in a related academic program, have completed at least their sophomore year of college, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25, are eligible to work in the United States on a long-term basis and are able to work full time for the 10-12 week internship period.  Internship start dates can be either 5/17/21 or 6/21/21.  All WaferTech internship opportunities will be held on-site.
