Podcast Producer – Video & Audio

Los Angeles, CA | Hybrid | Full-Time

We are building a multi-show podcast network and are looking for a hands-on Podcast Producer to help manage the end-to-end production of a growing slate of shows.

This role is ideal for someone who can take an episode from concept through recording, editing, publishing and promotion. We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable working with talent, managing production and getting behind the edit.

Responsibilities

• Manage podcast episodes from concept through publication

• Develop episode rundowns, topics, research and show prep

• Coordinate talent, guests, schedules and recording sessions

• Produce and oversee audio and video recordings

• Edit full-length video and audio podcast episodes

• Create and/or edit short-form clips for YouTube Shorts and social media

• Manage YouTube publishing, including uploads, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, chapters and scheduling

• Manage audio publishing and distribution across major podcast platforms

• Manage podcast hosting and RSS distribution through audio platforms such as Spreaker

• Maintain show pages, episode metadata and publishing schedules

• Coordinate sponsor integrations and host-read requirements

• Manage production calendars and episode deadlines

• Work with social and marketing teams on episode promotion

• Monitor YouTube and podcast performance and use audience insights to improve future content

• Help establish production standards and workflows as the podcast network grows

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional podcast, video, television, radio or digital production experience
• Strong video and audio editing experience
• Experience producing content from pre-production through final publication
• Hands-on experience with YouTube Studio, including channel and episode management
• Hands-on experience with podcast hosting and audio distribution platforms such as Spreaker or similar
• Working knowledge of RSS feeds, episode publishing, podcast distribution and platform analytics
• Proficiency with professional video and audio editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro or similar
• Strong understanding of YouTube, podcasts and short-form digital content
• Comfortable working directly with talent and executives
• Excellent organizational and project-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple shows and deadlines simultaneously

We're looking for someone who wants to help build a podcast network , not simply maintain an existing production operation. This person will have an opportunity to help shape production workflows, content standards and publishing strategy as the network grows.
