  • Responsibilities

    HR Generalist

    We seek a full-time Human Resource Generalist candidate who supports and administers benefits, recruitment efforts, new hire orientation, onboarding, HRIS, payroll-related recordkeeping, employee relations, etc.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    Oversees employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Assists the HR Director with compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommends best practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of best practices, regulatory changes, and innovative technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Assist with all internal and external related matters - benefits administration, compliance, unemployment claims, personnel files, etc. Maintaining digital files for employees and their documents, benefits, and other miscellaneous documents for their location. Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and pay attention to detail.
    • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
    • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, payroll systems, or related software.
    • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS.
    • Knowledge of administrative tasks and responsibilities
    • Diligence and analytically driven.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 3+ years in a multi-state environment and recruiting.
    • HR Certification is a plus
