    Harvard Pilgrim Health Care is currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our organization as Research Fellow. The Research Fellow will perform and manage research projects from their initial development through publication of findings in medical journals. They will also be working day-to-day with Drs. Christine Lu, Darren Toh and Fang Zhang.

     

    Job Description

    • Design research study and protocols, including creating detailed time-lines, meeting with faculty and staff collaborators, planning for technical and data support, and creating survey instruments.

    • Prepare proposal for obtaining research funding & Sponsored Program Application including compiling documentary material for human studies review.

    • Provide day-to-day management for research projects, including overseeing the activities of research assistants, data collection, developing plans, conducting data analysis. Manage database design and development.

    • Prepare manuscripts detailing research findings and submit findings to peer-reviewed medical journals.

    • Perform out-of-the-box thinking, collaborate with others, and make a difference every day!

    • Other duties and projects as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Doctoral degree, such as an MD, PharmD, or PhD.

    • Introductory knowledge of scientific research methods and biostatistics.

    • Ability to learn techniques for analyzing complex data.

    • Sound knowledge of computer systems, including word processing and spreadsheet software

    • Resilient, collaborative, flexible, innovative.
