Job Summary

At Polar Express our Comfort Advisors will meet with customers in their homes and educate them on the various options and designs of new or replacement HVAC equipment. You will professionally advise homeowners in determining the correct heating and cooling systems that offers the best solution to fit their needs. Building long-term successful client relationships.

General Accountabilities

Contacts regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.

Recommends products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.

Answers customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.

Estimates or quotes prices, credits or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.

Consults with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.

Performs administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Experience: A few months to one year of related experience.

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver's license and insurable driving record

Pass background and drug screen

Comfortable working directly with consumers in their homes

2+ years consultative sales experience

In home sales experience desired

HVAC or similar industry experienced desired

Self-motivated and highly organized with the ability to work independently

Able to work evenings and weekends

Goal orientated with a strong desire to succeed

Strong understanding of the psychology of sales

Time management, organization and presentation skills
