NONPROFIT FUNDRAISING SPECIALIST
PoliticalVIP is seeking Nonprofit Fundraising Specialists to join our consulting team to advise and aid clients with their fundraising needs. Clients can include political campaigns, nonprofit charities, political action committees/527s, social welfare organizations and similar organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside consultants as they conduct feasibility studies for organizations seeking fundraising assistance.
- Utilizing a viability analysis to develop a fundraising campaign which plays to the strengths of a client.
- Development and implementation of a fundraising plan on behalf of a client.
- Developing lists of potential donors based on due diligence resulting from an interview process between organizational leadership and the PVIP Fundraising Specialist.
- Training and preparing a fundraising team to solicit donations on behalf of a client.
- Conducts outreach to individual and corporate donors to solicit donations.
- Setting and meeting fundraising goals individually or as a team leader on behalf of a client.
A Successful Candidate Will
- Possess a minimum of ten years of professional fundraising experience.
- Be a United States citizen
- Have resided in the United States for no less than 10 years.
- Versatile and able to assist multiple fundraising clients simultaneously.
- Be of good reputation with no criminal background.
- Be able to display a broad knowledge of fundraising operations and management.
- Possess strong written and oral communications skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas to donors, clients and other consultants alike.
- Knowledge of the grant writing process.
-Knowledge of FEC guidelines for campaign finance is preferred.
