PUBLIC AFFAIRS CONSULTANT

PoliticalVIP is seeking a Public Affairs Consultant who is not viewed in social media as overly partisan to join our team to advise and aid clients. Must be fluent in government structure, daily affairs, world political developments. Clients can include individuals and organizations in both the public and private sectors.  It is a requirement that any consultant with our firm must list us as the only company they work for on their LinkedIn profile if hired.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to assist in government affairs and lobbying.
• Maintain understanding of developments politically, nationally, and around the world. 
• Keep abreast of lobbying issues.
• Understanding of business interests and trends.
• Technological and Energy Sectors.
• Conduct research to provide insight to marketing, social and cultural trends.
• Assist clients with establishing and maintaining a desirable image.
• Assist clients with building relationships and maintaining relationships with the public.
• Analyze data to develop a winning strategy to raise awareness for an entity or the causes they advocate for.
• Develop cost effective plans which will allow clients to improve their public image and communicate with the public.
  

A Successful Candidate Will

• Possess a minimum of ten years of experience in a role similar to or in public affairs.
• Be a United States citizen
• Have resided in the United States for no less than fifteen years.
• Capable of promptly conducting research to understand a client's needs.
• Versatile and able to advise multiple clients remotely.
• Be of good reputation with no criminal background.
• Be able to display a broad experience across multiple projects.
• Possess strong written and oral communications skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas to clients and other consultants alike.
• Strong knowledge of current events.

Job Type: W-2 after a 90 day probationary period. Paid as a W-9 during the probation period. 

Work Location: Remote

Hours/Week: Open

Remote Pay/Hr: Paid hourly up to $100 per hour plus bonus structure .
