    A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

    As a Customer Service Representative, you are on the front lines of customer satisfaction and loyalty, handling both incoming and outgoing customer care calls, emails, chats, and escalations. You are passionate about ensuring that each of our customers has the best possible experience with our products and company. Whether on the phone, through chats, or in emails, your warm, friendly personality comes through in all your interactions and leaves customers feeling as if they have just spoken with their best friend.

    You provide all aspects of customer support from a friendly "hello" down to the nuts and bolts of placing orders, tracking orders, processing returns, arranging for return shipments, calling customers for fraud analyses, and sorting out issues--all while keeping accurate records. Using your good multi-tasking and computer skills, you employ the use of various software programs including Slack and G-Suite to serve customers efficiently. You also put effort into gaining an in-depth knowledge of our furniture, so you can more competently answer customer questions.

    Invested in our success as a company, you collaborate with our Quality Assurance, Product, and Marketing teams to solve customer concerns. You also work closely with our IT team to troubleshoot technical issues. Though you spend a lot of time on the phone, you don't ever just "phone it in." We can't continue to grow without the world-class customer support that you and your team provide to our customers, and you love the excitement of being on the front lines of a rapidly growing furniture company!

    QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Proficiency with Windows
    • Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, and G-Suite
    • Ability to type at least 40 WPM
    • Clear speaking voice and good phone etiquette
    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to adjust your tone based on your audience
    • Proven problem-solving skills
    • Amazing customer service skills

    At least one year of customer service experience is preferred. Do you have a positive, can-do attitude? Are you flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment? Can you prioritize multiple tasks effectively while keeping attention to detail? Do you have excellent follow-through? Are you analytical and able to make sound decisions quickly? Do you have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to de-escalate and resolve conflicts appropriately? Are you reliable and punctual? If so, you might just be perfect for this Customer Service Representative position.

    WORK SCHEDULE

    This is a full-time customer support position with hours from 8:00 AM TO 5:00 PM or from 9:00 AM TO 6:00 PM on Mondays through Fridays.
