    PolySync's mission is to help our customers bring self-driving vehicles to roads, safely.

    As a Customer Systems Engineer at PolySync, you'll redefine the term "full stack," working from low-level vehicle systems through firmware and software to ensure that customers are able to get up and running quickly with PolySync. Customer Systems Engineers will

    • communicate directly with customers, assisting them as they bring their vehicles to life;
    • work to resolve customer issues, digging into both hardware and software problems;
    • reverse-engineer vehicle communications;
    • develop and improve software tools used by the team, and by customers;
    • work to build and expand upon PolySync's documentation;
    • monitor customer safety issues;
    • influence the product roadmap by reflecting on their experiences with customers.

    This is an excellent role for anybody that loves to gain knowledge in every part of a system, and wants to solve real customer problems.

    We'd like you to have a few years of software development experience in any of Python, Rust, C, or C++; however, specific language requirements are reasonably flexible. Any experience with embedded systems, reverse-engineering, and vehicle communications buses is favorable – and, as you might imagine, written and verbal communication skills will be especially valued in this role.

    Occasional opportunities may arise for travel; however, we don't anticipate that this will be significant for this role.
