Overview:
The goal of this position is to ensure our organization produces quality parts per customer specifications. Suitable applicants will be experienced professionals with a good eye for detail and a mechanical aptitude.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up and run CNC Machines, Chuckers, Autoloaders and Machining Centers
- Perform complex set-ups, make offset modifications and change tooling & fixtures
- Examine parts carefully to meet customer specifications
- Investigate and solve out of tolerance conditions or program failures
- Carry out daily maintenance on equipment
- Stick to instructions on shop routers and/or work instructions.
- Identify status of materials in process
- Report any equipment related issues to management
- Train new CNC operators
- Other duties assigned.

- Ability to sit, stand, climb, walk, use hands, talk and hear for a minimum of eight (8) hours a day
- Able to lift and/or move 25 to 50 lbs. periodically during the day.
- Frequently required to reach and use hands and arms.
Individuals must also be qualified with the knowledge, skill and abilities listed below :
- Need to comprehend basic math including percentages, ratios and proportions.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents.
- Write legibly.
- Read/understand measuring devices (gauges and calipers).
