Polygroup is growing and we are looking for a very talented and passionate full-time SR. PRODUCT INNOVATION DEVELOPER to be part of our innovation team. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of success that can help our team develop products and take them to the next level. You will be responsible for helping in the process of coming up with new ideas to add to our product pipe line. The role will work cross-functionally with various departments to develop new products.

You will report directly to the VP-Product Development and work closely with both the U.S. and Asia teams.

ARE YOU RIGHT FOR THE JOB? The ideal candidate should have a solid history of bringing innovation to product categories. We are looking for self-motivated individual that has the ability to innovate and lead our Think-Tank ideation strategy. Must be able to identify opportunities for innovation/new product ideas in existing categories as well as new categories.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

• 5+ years of experience developing, relevant and inspiring design solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Creative Design, Industrial Design, or Engineering
• Responsible for generating innovative products with unique and creative play patterns. Then be able to visually present them to team members thru sketches, color renderings, or models. These new products must be exciting and market relevant to both the trade and the consumer.
• Inspiring 2D skills via sketching, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
• Advanced 3D modeling and visualization skills
• Engineering knowledge and knowledge of manufacturing
• Ability to think strategically and integrate with business leaders
• Deep understanding of how things work
• A self-managing, motivated and entrepreneurial nature
• Passion for Design Strategy and Innovation
• Keeps up to date with changes in the market and technology that would affect new product development
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to listen to feedback and take actions step for improvements.
• Organized and self-directed - Able to work both independently and in a team environment, keeping projects and files organized when working in a team, and able to prioritize responsibilities and communicate progress.
