JOB SUMMARY:
To ensure the safe and secure entry of employees and visitors while monitoring adherence to company policies by employees.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Greet visitors, including vendors and salesmen, at their initial point of entry and see to it they complete an entry on the guest sign-in sheet
Ensure employees enter the building by the correct entrance door set forth by the department they are working in
Tour the facility, inside and out, for any violations of company policies
Monitor to ensure employees remain in their respective department and are not visiting other departments without first gaining permission from their supervisor (including leaving the building to go to the parking lot)
Assist and attend to the disposition of employees, if needed
In the event of severe infractions, report any form of verbal warning notice to the Human Resources Director and Production Manager
Ensure all employees and visitors have proper credentials for accessing buildings (Employee badges)
Respond to emergencies and incidents within the facilities promptly and according to policies
Ensure that all workers are adhering to the PPE Policy
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
1-2 years of experience preferred
Previous security-related work preferred
Completion certificate of a security training program preferred
Ability to stay calm and respond quickly in stressful situations
Proficient written and oral communication skills
First Aid/CPR trained preferred (PVF will pay for training)
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Exposure to loud noises
