JOB SUMMARY:

Polyvinyl Films, Inc. is currently seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Responsible for developing high quality manufacturing processes for our manufacturing floor machinery.

· Develop testing processes and perform testing and validation.

· Develop creative engineering solutions to meet product requirements.

· Generate engineering documentation, mechanical drawings, and bill of materials.

· Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria, such as efficiency and speed.

· Develop and test effective automated and manual systems.

· Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources.

· Optimize facility layouts, production lines and machine operations.

· Resolve issues and delays in production.

· Find ways to reduce cost and maximize quality.

· Study production and machine requirements.

· Perform detailed documentation.

· Collaborate with other internal engineers, and work with vendors.

· Prepare and release required design documentation to manufacturing for new products and provide support.

· Ensure manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations.

· Formulate new, innovative approaches to solve technical problems.

· Ongoing improvements to our current product lines.

· Troubleshoot machinery failures and implement solution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering, or similar, required.

· 5 + years’ experience required.

· Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques.

· Firm grasp of engineering concepts.

· Experience using CAD software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.

· Experience with electrical control systems for machinery.

· Project Management skills.

· Exceptional problem solving and technical skills.

· Experience in Mechanical design, development, and testing.

· Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Positive professional attitude.

· Must be self-motivated and a great team player.
