Pomeroy is looking for a skilled Full Stack Architect/ Developer for a 3 Month contract position. The Full Stack Architect/Developer will be responsible for leading the architecture, design, development and maintenance of platform and solutions for web apps and mobile-web applications. This position requires strong technical skills and experience with enterprise Java, React JS, event-driven architecture, and microservices in Docker/Kubernetes environments. The successful candidate will collaborate with organizational and clinical leaders, architects, and engineers to understand solution/product requirements and design, develop, test and release features. Additionally, this role will be responsible for managing the overall production deployment, code reviews, code refactoring, optimization, and automation of development processes. Key Responsibilities: * Lead architecture, design, development, and maintenance of platform and solutions for web apps and mobile-web applications * Collaborate with organizational and clinical leaders, architects, and engineers to understand solution/product requirements * Design, develop, test, and release features using the latest microservices in Enterprise Docker/Kubernetes environments * Develop across the full stack of web technologies with a focus on great experiences * Perform code reviews and code refactoring to increase application scale, reduce latency, and code duplication * Create processes to optimize and automate development, builds, and product quality * Optimize the product and infrastructure for nonfunctional requirements * Evaluate cutting-edge technologies and suggest adopting specific technologies to improve business/product efficiency * Manage overall production deployment and provide best practice guidelines and process development for the engineering team * Create Software Architecture Document, High Level and Low-Level Design document, Nonfunctional requirements for the project * Define Integration Design and Security Design * Conduct active research on industry-wide frameworks and integrate them into the platform needs Required Skills: * 15+ years of experience with Enterprise Java, MS SQL, and related technologies with experience in architecting, designing technical solutions * 5+ years of experience in enterprise quality full stack technology solutions architecture and design frameworks with front end and back end architecture, development supervision, etc. (React JS experience is highly preferred, Angular is acceptable, but React framework needs to be learnt) * 5+ experience in event-driven architecture and service * 5+ years of experience with Services development with RESTful services, service orchestration, API management, and secure, role-based solution development. (Experience with Istio and Service mesh are a plus) * 5+ years with MSSQ and related RDBMS with application persistency layer design experience * Solid understanding of UI development practices including HTML/CSS and responsive design with React framework * Development using Docker EE and microservices * Experience in complete project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects * Good knowledge of DevOps culture with knowledge and experience with CICD pipeline, Containerization, APIs, and Infrastructure as code * Extensive experience in database design and programming with relational, NoSQL databases and data archival and retrieval concepts * Strong knowledge of software design patterns, microservices, event-driven, and Cloud-native architectures * Experience in implementing Webservices Security using WS-Security, SAML and integrating with Identity providers, LDAP and ADFS * Strong organizational awareness and the ability to work effectively at multiple levels within an organization. Equally comfortable in discussing technical/analytical details with technical thought leaders as explaining technical subject matter with a non-technical audience high-level executive * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability, intent, and proficiency in documenting technical architecture, design, and specifications using industry standard practices Nice to Have Skills: * Understanding of messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBMMQ, etc. is a plus * Mongo Database experience and any real-time DBs are a plus.
