Job description:

Louisiana Pond Management is a small, fast-growing company currently entertaining resumes for a field technician/biologist in pond management. This position requires many different levels of work in all kinds of weather. Candidate must be a motivated self-starter, with a willingness to learn & grow. Biological knowledge, people skills, mechanical work, communications/writing and continuing education are required. This is a flexible time with possible full-time position, for the season, with potential for a permanent position with health insurance & an employer-matched IRA. This is a remote outpost position. You must be able to communicate and perform remotely via computer and phone.

You will be required to:

· Use Jobber for following contract assignments. Train in Baton Rouge Meet via video call Learn equipment information for sales & installation

· Monitor Google docs/sheets for tasks & scheduling

· Write and turn in job tickets to office staff in a timely and organized manner.

· Inventory assistance warehouse

You will be required to learn to:

· Communicate effectively & professionally with customers (conversation control, educating, listening, presenting).

· Maintain trucks, trailers, batteries, boat motor, & equipment

· Pull/hook up trailer, back up a trailer

· Identify aquatic plants

· Study & apply herbicide label information

· Apply herbicides effectively & safely

· Become certified in pesticide application

· Assembly, installation & repair of aeration systems, including fountains & diffused aeration
