    MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN SWIMMING POOL MAINTENANCE!

    Responsibilities

    We are looking for skilled, reliable technicians with skills in pool maintenance to support the maintenance and repair tasks needed within Carolina Pools, LLC at various commercial and residential swimming pools as well as some monument fountains.

    Water Quality Maintenance:

    Test and adjust pH and chlorine levels.

    Add and maintain chemicals to ensure proper water balance.

    Handle and store pool chemicals safely.

    Pool Cleaning and Maintenance:

    Clean pool surfaces (walls, floor) using brushes, vacuums, and other equipment.

    Clean pool decks and surrounding areas.

    Empty trash containers and maintain cleanliness.

    Equipment Maintenance and Repair:

    Perform routine maintenance on pumps, filters, heaters, and other equipment.

    Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.

    Replace underwater lights, fix leaks and cracks.

    Safety and Security:

    Ensure pool area is safe and sanitary.

    Maintain emergency lighting and other safety features.

    Follow safety procedures for handling chemicals and operating equipment.

    Other Duties:

    May include ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and providing customer service.

    Winterizing or opening pools seasonally.

    Qualifications

    Must have prior experience in swimming pool maintenance.

    Additional certifications or apprenticeship experience is preferred but not necessary.

    Basic understanding of pool chemistry.

    Knowledge of pool equipment and their operation. Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

    Good communication and customer service skills. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

    Physical ability to perform tasks involving climbing, bending, and lifting.

    Prompt and punctual attendance to the shop is required.

    Must have a valid driver’s license

    Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
