We need a problem-solving pool maintenance technician to repair, maintain, clean, and treat pools for a variety of clients in our community. Responsibilities include using our company vehicle to visit clients and troubleshoot, repair, and replace faulty pool equipment. You’ll also test pH levels, treat water with chemicals, and survey the pool structure to identify leaks. The ideal candidate can interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner, has previous experience as a pool maintenance technician, and is proficient in swimming pool chemicals and their properties. Responsibilities: • Install new underwater lights • Survey pH levels of water, and add or maintain chemicals as needed • Keep record of all paperwork and services performed • Educate customers with tips on how to maintain their pool • Clean swimming pools and filtration using certified pool equipment • Diagnose faulty pool equipment to determine proper repair or replacement • Provide written, detailed quotes for pool equipment • Communicating with customers to explain repair options and provide estimates • Contact customers to complete the sale • Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair pool automation, variable speed pumps, heaters, filters, salt systems, lighting, and electrical systems • Maintaining accurate records of repairs and parts inventory in pool software • Providing professional and courteous service • Providing technical guidance • Monitoring the quality of repair work • Ordering parts and supplies as needed Qualifications: • Ability to lift heavy equipments and dexterity are required • Valid driver’s license required • Ability to work in harsh weather conditions • Applicant must have high school diploma or equivalent • Prior experience with pool chemicals, maintenance techniques and equipment, is strongly preferred • You have 2-5 years of pool repair experience • You are proficient in estimating • You have excellent communication skills • You have strong electrical, plumbing, and problem-solving skills • You are organized Compensation: $22 - $29 hourly
