Job Description

Pool Scouts is a company dedicated to providing a safe and reliable work environment for all of its employees. We offer employment during our "pool season” that stretches from March to December although some of our clients do require year-round services. Pool Scouts is looking for a pool technician with a natural work ethic, and a positive/flexible attitude. You will be paired with a veteran pool technician to assist in closing and winterizing of our customers' pools; as well as we'll train you in basic pool cleaning and hot tub/spa cleaning. Our technicians are responsible for providing top notch services and positive customer experience for each of our valued clients.

Requirements:

· Must be at least 18 years of age.

· Be willing to submit to a nationwide background check.

· Must be available to work 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with some potential weekend work.

· Must have a valid driver's license without restrictions (you must have a license in order to operate our company vehicles, so this is non-optional).

· Must have a reliable form of transportation to and from work.

· Ability to walk for long periods of time in extreme outdoor temperatures.

· Must be prepared to work in the rain.

· Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

· Proficiency in various electronic devices and applications for effective communication/information sharing.

· High school diploma or GED equivalent.

· No prior experience is required but preferred. (Certified Pool Technicians will receive pay differential).

· Knowledge of pools is a plus. Mechanical acumen also a plus. All positions are hourly pay and pay range is based on prior expertise, certification and if you can do repairs.

Pool Technician I

o Cleaning and organizing van

o Cleaning and organizing shed

o Take trash from the shed and your van at the end of day to the dumpster.

o Between 10 – 15 jobs daily of the following

Weekly cleanings

Biweekly cleanings

Monthly cleanings

1-time cleanings

Follow up vacuum

Winter service
