    Executive Legal Assistant to Managing Partner We are looking for an experienced executive legal assistant who can work directly with our managing partner. You will be taking direction from one of our managing partners and will be managing his official correspondence, answering phone calls, reviewing emails, arranging meetings and travel, managing his personal and work calendar, and ensuring our internal team is aware of any necessary action items. You’ll also assist paralegal staff with preparing legal documents and contracts, and perform any other tasks as needed to ensure our firm is operating efficiently. This role is a part executive assistant, part legal assistant, and part personal assistant! Responsibilities: Use daily time records to properly process client billing with support from the accounting department Handle office correspondence and administrative tasks such as responding to emails and phone calls, communicating with opposing attorney offices, taking dictation, and letting the team know about upcoming deadlines Undertake other duties as needed to ensure the firm operates efficiently Complete legal research as needed under the supervision of attorneys and paralegals Arrange travel, schedule meetings and appointments for the team, such as depositions, and coordinate with outside vendors for events Assist with the creation of various litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, affidavits, contracts, and briefs for case preparation, and proofread documents a needed • Managing partner's day to day activities and assisting where necessary. Qualifications: Must be able to type at least 50 WPM Must be able to prioritize tasks with demanding deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment Organizational skills and communication skills are necessary for this position Experience with legal software, litigation case management, and docketing programs Ability to comfortably use all Microsoft Office products • College degree or equivalent experience required • Able to work with a high degree of confidentiality and integrity Compensation: $50,000
