PopViewers is looking for enthusiastic interns o join our dynamic team! We are an emerging entertainment tech platform with strong funding (check us out on the App Store and at Popviewers.com). You should have a passion for pop culture (film & TV), and a desire to take initiative on tasks. If you would enjoy working in a nimble, fast-growing, mission-driven company making an impact on the media industry, this is the place for you! We are looking for interns to specialize in Editorial, Social Media (TikTok), and Growth Marketing on a remote, part-time basis. Responsibilities might include (though we hope to co-create them, and we are happy to have you specialize!) - Create and upload original videos that represent PopViewers and its values across Reels and TikTok - Assist in creating, planning, publishing, and managing social content based on engagement metrics in collaboration with our Head of Social Media - Engage with users and creators on TikTok + Reels and make recommendations to marketing team about future partnerships. - Pitch, produce, research and write original articles on pertinent pop culture topics -Research our market's consumer preferences then target and segment our customers effectively based on this research -Strategize and execute marketing digital campaigns -Guerilla marketing in Times Square or remote location (your college campus) to encourage app sign-ups and reactions -Outreach to social media influencers Your Skills: -True passion for and working knowledge of the entertainment industry, pop culture, film & TV - Photography, mobile video, and Adobe Suite Experience - Self-starter and motivated - Loves working in a fast-paced, friendly and evolving culture - Excellent communication skills; a natural problem-solver -Experience with graphic design, CRMs / marketing email platforms Qualifications: - Excellent grasp of grammar and style -True passion for and working knowledge of the entertainment industry, pop culture, film & TV - Flexibility and versatility in performing long term tasks and immediate requests - Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail - Proficient in WordPress, photo-editing tools (i.e. Canva, Adobe Spark) Definitely want to mention that this internship is unpaid. It's on you to get clearance from your school to allow this internship to be for school credit. You have to go to your professor, etc. to get the internship approved. We will sign a mutual agreement stating that the internship is unpaid, and will also sign off on documentation from your college stating that you successfully completed the internship.
