    Every month, we help thousands of new homeowners through the move-in journey. During this time, they have all sorts of needs and tasks to complete before moving into their new homes: home insurance quotes, utility connections, finding movers and handymen, home security needs and internet services. Our Welcome Call agents help our customers handle these things in a few easy phone calls, saving them lots of time and money.

    We're looking for a proven leader who can help build our insurance operation and transform a team of Welcome Call Agents into effective insurance sales agents.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day agent staff, including coaching and mentoring
    • Maintain the production of insurance sales while helping to foster a team environment and a high level of customer satisfaction
    • Communicate to management regarding issues affecting the performance of the staff or customer satisfaction
    • Conduct new hire interviews and advise in hiring decisions
    • Build understanding and awareness of insurance products, growth and retention strategies and assesses agent's impact and readiness to support initiatives
    • Identify training needs and evaluate current training methods to maximize individual performance and unit flexibility
    • Continuously consider process improvements and implement best practices
    • Ensure all critical operational metrics are achieved such as service levels, customer care, productivity standards, customer satisfaction scoresEngage in the optimal and appropriate usage of applicable agency management systems
    • Provide support to the team as needed: answer policy level requests such as policy and billing questions

    WHAT YOU WILL BRING

    • Active Property & Casualty License
    • 5+ years of agency/brokerage experience with increasing levels of management responsibility
    • In-depth knowledge of structure, functions, flow, and procedures of brokerage and policy operations
    • Previous experience in Property & Casualty insurance customer service
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • Must continue to meet continuing education requirements for license renewal
    • Exceptional leadership, coaching/mentoring skills, and problem-solving skills
    • Customer-orientation and ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve customer questions and concerns
    • Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment
    • A high degree of dependability, motivation, and flexibility and ability to adapt to new situations and learn quickly
    • Proficient in Agency Management Systems
    • Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
