Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead Assistant Port Engineer

• Engine Expertise: Maintain and repair Cummins, Caterpillar, John Deere engines as well as outboard motor experience

• Systems Knowledge: Handling low voltage electrical systems, pneumatic air systems, hydraulic systems, and plumbing systems efficiently.

• Welding and Cutting

-Vehicle Maintenance

• Safety and Environmental Protection: Uphold crew safety, vessel safety, and environmental protection standards.

• Machinery Maintenance: Perform maintenance and repair of all vessel machinery, equipment, and structural components within engineering spaces.

Requirements:

• Willingness to travel and spend time out of town on repairs

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

• Physical fitness and the ability to handle the demands of working on a vessel.

-Valid Driver License

-Valid TWIC Card

-Subject to Random Drug Screening
