JOB DESCRIPTION

PortFresh Logistics in Bloomingdale, GA is looking for Order Checkers to verify the accuracy of orders that were pulled by the Warehouse Selectors and ensure that the correct product and quantities will be shipped to the customer. They do this by verifying that the product listed on the case and number of cases matches the pick list. Furthermore, the Order Checkers document their review of each order to keep a record of the transactions. Providing this accuracy is important in maintaining an uninterrupted supply of products to the stores.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Verify accuracy of pallets going out to customers. Make sure computer-generated order tickets are organized. Communicate with pallet builders in effort to correct errors with orders. Assist in various duties including the appearance and safety of warehouse.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Understanding of basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Excellent organization skills. Ability to read and write.
