    Job Description

    PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

    Carries out all customer service activities in a prompt, courteous, and effective manner. Ensures inquiries and complaints are handled appropriately and customer relationships are established and maintained. Acts as a liaison between PLG and the customer to ensure excellent customer satisfaction. Completes other clerical duties as directed.

    PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND END RESULTS:

    • Process and input all customer orders. Generate all related paperwork and necessary information required for customer work orders, check all orders for special requests and post inventory records.
    • Coordinate special, last minute requests.
    • Trace orders and notify customers of any activity concerning their order.
    • Maintain excellent working relationships with customers by responding to all inquiries and complaints concerning work orders, invoices, shipments, inventory counts, etc., in a courteous and efficient manner.
    • Report customer feedback to management, including any signs of customer dissatisfaction.
    • Act as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer in the administration of accounts and between the office and customer regarding invoicing and credit changes.
    • Oversee all paperwork associated with orders and maintain the corresponding files.
    • Maintain a current and accurate procedures manual that details the processing requirements for each account.
    • Answer phone calls and operate various types of office machines and computers necessary to perform duties.
    • Effectively correspond with customers as required.
    • Answer phones, greet visitors, and perform scheduling as required.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Qualified candidate should have over 3 years’ experience in a Customer Service role.
    • Requires general office knowledge, including telephone techniques and computer skills in a customer service environment.
    • Requires effective communication skills and good hearing.
    • Bi-lingual abilities a plus.
    • Requires responsible work habits and the ability to meet deadlines.
