Our busy firm is growing, and we need a skilled professional to oversee real estate transactions (primarily residential), interact with clients and referral partners, attend closings, draft and review purchase contracts and conveyance documents, and represent clients effectively. Responsibilities: • Take into account all legal aspects of clients’ intended outcome and personal circumstances to provide sound legal advice to them • Settle terms and conditions for real estate transactions, and facilitate the transfer of title between real estate agents, borrowers, and title company • Conduct detailed due diligence, and inspect title examination, closing binder, and legal documents for legal risk, completion, and accuracy • Represent client at real estate closings, in real estate disputes, and real estate litigation • Delegate tasks to paralegals and support staff Qualifications: • Working knowledge of title insurance, land use, business law, property management, and residential and commercial real estate law, including litigation • Hold a current law license in the state and be a member of your local bar association • J.D. (Juris Doctorate) degree required from an accredited law school is required • Minimum 3 years of experience as a residential or commercial real estate attorney, as a transactional attorney, or as corporate counsel for a real estate development firm • Exceptional negotiation, research, networking, and communication skills are desired Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000 yearly
