    About This Opportunity

    As a Batching Supervisor you will lead a team of 6 Batching Technicians. Daily you will be working in the field side-by-side with your team, providing guidance and coaching, as well as verifying the disciplined execution of our Standard Operating Procedures. Your team will be blending high-quality beverages for some of the nation’s leading brands. This position is ideal for the candidate who has the experience and confidence to step in and deliver an immediate positive impact on the safety, productivity, quality, and culture of our operation.

Experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing and a foundational understanding of food safety practices will be invaluable for this role.

    Schedule

    Thursday through Saturday (1100 to 2300)

    Every Other Wednesday (1100 to 1900)

    Essential Functions

    • Manage hourly team members to meet safety, productivity, quality, and culture goals.
    • Direct supervision and oversight of all batching related activities including:
      • Ingredient Staging and Traceability.
      • Compliance of Customer Blending Instructions.
      • Time Management: Satisfying the Production Schedule and deadlines.
      • Shift handoff and internal communication.
    • Drive team member engagement through recognition, performance appraisal, coaching, training, and discipline.
    • Ensuring team member compliance with company policies and government regulation.
    • Providing training and coaching to team members to meet performance standards.
    • Environmental Sanitation and CIP (Clean-In-Place) Operations.
    • Providing for the safety and security of the workplace by ensuring the plant work areas are maintained clean, safe, and organized.
    • Enforcing GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices)
    • Protection of company material resources through strict loss prevention practices.
    • Coordinating with the Batching Manager, Quality Manager, Warehouse Manager, and Maintenance Manager in resolving production issues in a timely manner.
    • Optimize plant operations to meet safety, delivery / productivity, quality, cost, and culture goals.
    • Identify and perform problem-solving activities including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
    • Perform other duties as required.

    Experience, Education and Skillset

    • Prior supervisory experience in a production environment. (1 to 5 Years)
    • High volume food/beverage production experience is highly desired.
    • Ability to effectively train a team with varying levels of education, expertise, and backgrounds.
    • Established knowledge of Computer Systems, preferably the Microsoft Suite.
    • Knowledge of basic OSHA guidelines for safety in the workplace.
    • Ability to work a schedule that is flexible and driven by business demand.
    • Applicable secondary education and/or certifications preferred but not required.
    • Current HACCP certification strongly preferred or the ability to obtain certification post hiring.
